According to one local news source covering the tragic event, the accident occurred when one dump truck inexplicably crashed into the rear of another, causing both to fall off a bridge. The man whose truck was struck was knocked out of the truck’s cabin and landed in the water below. Tragically, his truck fell on top of him, and he was found dead when emergency crews were able to lift the truck out of the water. The other truck driver sustained only minor injuries.
